As a part of the package, we deliver a Power BI template that simplifies the data model so out of the box you have a rich set of built in DAX functions and visuals which can then be used for the matrix you desire.

Peer Comparisons is a package of tools that together enables peer groups to collect QuickBooks data into their own database, map the chart of accounts into a standard  set of accounts so they can compare their performance versus other peers.

We built a secure desktop application that serves as the focal point for getting information into a partners consolidated database. Of course, each source (QBO,QBD,CSV) has it's own unique way of pulling in data under the covers but we worked really hard to make each unique source of information look as similar as possible.

Partners are happy to know that their logo replaces ours so users know exactly who has access to their information. When we pull financial information, the ONLY place it is stored is the hosting partners SQL database.

Control your own data - from the beginning our tool has been designed to empower our users, not control them so naturally a core design tenant is we are a conduit for getting users the information they need but we do not store your data. We think this simple step allows you to be confident your data is secure. 

We chose to build on Microsoft SQL server because they provide a scalable solution. You can begin on a free SQL Express database on a local machine, move to a server version or employ SQL on the Azure cloud. Our team can help you make the right choice and get you up and running during the deployment.

We include our aha tool, which allows you to map your existing chart of accounts to an alternative way to summarize your QuickBooks data. This product allows you to define a single way that an infinite number of QuickBooks files can be mapped.

In the example to the left all but a couple of accounts have been mapped.
