Founder and Principal, Ernest Cook

Ernest Cook is a successful accountant turned business system professional with a tremendous work ethic. Because Ernest is versed in both financial and systems information, he is therefore able to easily communicate information between customers and partners. From as early as 1979 when Ernest was in high school taking Computer Assisted Accounting, he knew he wanted to leverage the power of computers to provide better accounting answers.

After graduating from San Jose State University ( SJSU ) school of Business with an accounting degree, Ernest went to work at Chevron where he quickly learned the value of a good accounting system.  After 5 years of building custom applications and reports with a finance back-drop, Ernest moved to a large IT shop of an international bank to learn the discipline of large scale system development. Supporting the global consolidations provided the opportunity to practice managing large amounts of data in a critical environment. In this environment, Ernest learned a great deal about database management and building data warehouses to capture historical financial trends.

 In the late 1990's, Ernest Cook made the transformation from Corporate IT to customer facing roles as implementations consultant for a variety of applications including Systems Union GL package, Demand Management's inventory demand planner, Alert Technologies Business Continuity Software package and Casio Soft's Remote Data Collection application. These positions taught Ernest a great deal about the unique nature of consulting and have provided a foundation on which he continues to build on today.
